Safety and Security

  1. Game Storage: We will store games in a secure and climate-controlled environment.
  2. Customer Information: We protect customer information and maintain confidentiality.
  3. Emergency Procedures: We have emergency procedures in place in case of loss of game or injury related to the game.

Adult Supervision

  1. Adult presence (chaperone/staff) and active supervision on children without distractions.

Playground Equipment Safety

  1. Age and size appropriateness: Ensure children/adults use equipment suitable for their age and size.
  2. Equipment to be regularly inspected for damage, rust, or other hazards before play.
  3. Safe surfaces: Ensure play areas have safe landing surfaces, such as wood chips or rubber mulch to cushion falls.
  4. Proper use of equipment: Children/adults must use equipment as intended (e.g., sitting on swings, not climbing up slides).

Adult/Child Behavior and Safety

  1. No pushing or rough play: Teach children not to push or throw objects at others.
  2. Respect for others: Encourage children/adults to respect others’ space and play equipment.
  3. Awareness of surroundings: Children/adults should pay attention to others and avoid running in front of swings or slides.
  4. Respect boundaries: Stay within designated areas and respect boundaries, such as fences or warning signs.
  5. *Adults should be mindful of children: Always be aware of children playing. They can be unpredictable and may not always be aware of their surroundings.
  6. Pet Safety: If bringing a pet, keep it leashed and in pet designated zone/area.

Personal Safety

  1. Appropriate Clothing (to suit weather): Ensure children/adults wear suitable clothing and footwear for play.
  2. No loose items: Ensure children/adults don’t wear loose items or accessories that could get caught in equipment.
  3. Stay hydrated: Encourage children/adults to drink water regularly, especially on hot days.
  4. Sun protection: Apply sunscreen and wear hats to protect against sunburn.
  5. Warm-up and stretching: Warm up with light cardio and stretching exercises to prevent muscle strains.
  6. Listen to your body: If you experience pain or discomfort or tired, stop the activity and rest.

Emergency Preparedness & Response

  1. First aid kit: Ensure a first aid kit is available and easily accessible to appropriate personnels.
  2. Emergency contact information and communication device: Ensure emergency contact information is available and easily accessible.
  3. Fire safety: Ensure children/adults know what to do in case of a fire.
  4. Emergency plan: Have a plan in case of serious injury or other emergencies.
  5. Medical personnel presence to administer first aid and initiate emergency plan where necessary.
